The counselling I offer is centred around the relationship we build together. When you feel safe, understood, and accepted, it becomes easier to talk openly, make sense of what’s going on, and begin to move forward in a way that feels right for you.
Many of the people I work with come feeling lost or unsure where to begin. Together, we gently explore what’s happening for you, what may be contributing to your distress, and how this connects to other areas of your life. This process can help you feel more grounded, more in control, and more like yourself again.
There’s no pressure in therapy to change anything before you’re ready. But if there are things you’d like to work towards, I’ll be alongside you — supporting you at your own pace. Often, clients find that simply gaining a deeper understanding of themselves brings meaningful shifts, helping them navigate relationships and life with greater clarity and confidence.
My focus is on you as the person rather than on the specific issue that you present with, but some of the many things I deal with include:
- Anxiety & overthinking
- People-pleasing & boundaries
- Low self-esteem
- Stress & burnout
- Life transitions
- Loss
